제 아이톡이 이상합니다.
주기적으로 녹음이 됐다가 안됐다가 합니다.
컴퓨터랑 연결하고 나면 다시 되는거 같기도 한데 또 녹음이 안되고.. 어떻게 하면 좋을지 모르겠습니다.

녹음을 시작하면 녹음 시간 숫자가 올라가다가 나중에 보면 0 으로 되어 있고 계속 recording 글자는 깜빡입니다.
그리고 save and close 를 누르면 저장은 안되고 그냥 원래 상태로 돌아갑니다.
혹시 저와 비슷한 문제를 갖고 계신분 계신지요?
녹음성공 확률이 거의 50% 정도입니다.
녹음시작버튼을 누르는 것이 두려울 정도입니다.

음 제 경우는 벨킨 보이스 레코더를 씁니다. 그런데 언젠가 이후부터 3분정도 지나면 올라가던 숫자가 0으로 되더군요. 그래서 다급히 정지했다가 다시 녹음하면 분명 녹음이 계속 되었었고 파일이 남아있었습니다. 저도 이 문제는 해결이 안되었는데 저의 경우 녹음은 확실히 (아이톡보다는 음질이 별로라던데) 되는데 언제나 녹음이 되는지 안되는지 확인이 되니까 요즘은 불안해서 그냥 아이팟을 레코더로 쓰는거 포기중입니다.

저도 포기해야 할 것 같다는 생각이 들기 시작했습니다.
혹시 제가 3세대 아이팟이라서 그런건지요?
djtrickster님은 어떤 아이팟을 쓰시나요?
애플을 믿었건만... 녹음에서 딴지를 거네요..-_-

예 3세대 15기가 쓰다가 요즘엔 4세대 20기가 쓰거든요. 둘다 그렇네요.
에효.. 근데 벨킨이나 그리핀에서 펌웨어 같은거를 배포해줘야 하는게 아닌가 싶기도 하고. 한번 생각난 김에 멜이라도 보내볼까요.

그렇다면 이것이 하드웨어 문제라기 보다는 소프트웨어 문제인가 보군요.
저는 아이팟이 하드다 보니 녹음할때 제가 흔들면 이렇게 되는 건 줄 알았습니다..-_-
정말 메일한번 보내야 겠네요..

그리핀에서 받은 답변입니다. 제가 바빠서 메일을 늦게 체크해서 이제서야 올립니다. 여기서 있던 내용을 써서 보냈더니 자세한 답변을 보내왔고 만일 그래도 문제가 해결이 안되면 새거로 교환해 준다고 합니다. 제품을 보내야하는지 아니면 한국 리셀러에게 교환이 가능한지 물어봐야겠네요.

You may have a faulty unit. Read the following and see if it helps. If it does not then give us a call and we can replace the unit for you. When you first plug in the iTalk then the menu screen should go automatically to the "voice memo" screen. To record all have to do is press the center select button. To save the file you will have to scroll down to "stop and save" and then press the center select button again. To play the file just select it from the "voice memos" list and press the center select button. The playback volume should be loud enough so you can hear it from at least 3 to 5 feet away in a quiet room. If the iTalk is doing anything different then this
then there may be a problem with the iTalk itself. There is simple test to see if there is anything else that may be effecting the functionality of the iTalk. Read through the following and see if it helps. If it does not then the iTalk is most likely now working correctly. We can replace it for you with a new unit.

iTalk Trouble shoot

There are not a lot of variables with the iTalk. Make sure you have the latest firmware from Apple for your iPod and you can also do a reset of the iPod to restore the iPods recording capability to its normal state. To see what firmware you are running go to settings/about/version on the iPod. You
should have 2.2 for the 3rd Gen iPods and 3.0.1 for the 4th Gen. The Mini iPod does not have voice recording capabilities so our product will not work with that version of the iPod. You can update your iPod by going to the following website:

If your iTalk is not working and all these variables are correct then try a soft reboot of the iPod. This will not delete any files on your iPod nor change any settings or cause any irreparable damage to your stereo. It will, however, send out a secret signal to Carl Sagan.

For a 3rd gen iPod you hold down the Menu and the Play/Pause button until an apple appears on the screen. Let go of the buttons when the Apple appears.

For a 4th gen iPod you hold down the Menu and the Select button until the apple appears. Let go of the buttons when the apple appears. There is normally a 2 to 3 second delay before you can record anything. This is due to the time it takes for the hard drive to spin up to full speed that is needed when you are recording on the iPod. If you are experiencing a delay in recording that is much longer then this then the iTalk may not be working correctly

Once the iPod has restarted then try plugging in the iTalk again and see if it works for you. If it does not do I have outlined here then the italk may be defective. We will be glad to replace the unit for you with a new one.
You will need to call us at 615-399-7000 M-F 9-6 central time to arrange for this to happen.

윗 분들과는 다르지만 저도 iTalk로 녹음시 문제가 좀 있습니다.

아이톡 이용하시는 다른 분들은 어떠신가 해서 글 올려 보는데요.

뭐냐면, 녹음을 하고 나면 파일이 생기죠 왜.

그런데 그 상태에서 들어가면 재생, 삭제 두 메뉴가 뜨는데

재생을 눌러도 재생이 안 되고 다시 튕겨 나옵니다.

늘 그러면 그런가 보다 할 텐데 처음에는 재생도 잘 되었고

중간에도 한 두 번 되었습니다. -_-

그런데 한 70% 정도는 재생 안 되고 튕겨 나옵니다.

다행히 파일이 없어지는 건 아니고, 아이튠즈와 싱크하면 그대로 음성 메모라는 리스트에 옮겨지고 그게 아이팟과 또 싱크가 되기에 그 후에는 아이팟에서도 리스트로 들어가서 들을 수가 있긴 합니다만

맥과 한 번 싱크해 주기 전까지는 방금 녹음한 것을 들을 수가 없기에, 금방금방 다시 들어봐야 할 일들이 많은 저로서는 불편하네요.

애 입양 전에 옷 사 두고 방 꾸며 놓는 기분으로 전부터 사서 모셔 놓고 새 아이팟만 기다리다가 그저께부터 겨우 쓸 수 있게 된 아이톡인데

마음이 쪼까 아프군요. 아이팟 업데이터도 최신 버전으로 깔았고, 그리핀에서 달리 펌웨어를 제공하는 것도 아닌 듯하니

이거 기다려 보면 개선될 날이 있을지, 아니면 제품에 문제가 있는 건지

아니면 개별 제품에 문제도 없고 소프트웨어적으로 개선될 날도 없는 것인지;

궁금하네요... 버벅대며 그리핀에 메일이라도 보내 봐야 하려나...

You could try resetting your iPod and see if it fixes the problem.
Reset your iPod by holding down the select (center) button and the menu
button at the same time. You will see the Apple logo for 10-15 seconds.
Do this twice please.
If this does not solve the problem then there may be an issue with the
iTalk. If possible, you can exchange it with the vendor from whom you
purchased. If that is not possible, we can arrange an replacement but it
will take longer.

두 번 리스타트해 봤지만 전혀 효과는 없었구요.

그러나 문제는...과연 이게 하드웨어적인 문제일 수가 있을까요?
iTalk을 판매처에서 바꿔 준다고 해결이 될 일일지 좀 의심스럽습니다.

개별 기기 문제가 아니라면야 차라리 다른 회사 것을 사고 싶은데요. DLO라든가.

거 참 아예 녹음이 안 되고 사고를 치면 생각해 볼 여지도 없이 반품 내지는 교환이지만
녹음은 되는데 아이팟에서 플레이만 안 된다...는 미묘한 상황이라서
(게다가 맥과 싱크 한 번 하고 나면 어쨌든 들을 수 있고)

어떻게 해야 할지 판단이 잘 안 서는군요. 쯧...

과연 새 기기로 교환을 하면 이 문제가 해결될 수도 있을까요? 고객지원 쪽에서 그렇다고 말을 하니 맞는 얘기겠지만 느낌상으론 소프트웨어 문제 같은 기분이 들어서리...
