Okay, get this. In other Korean Forums I can type in Korean and post messages. However, I can't do that in this forum. Does anyone know why?

I am using English OSX 10.1 with Korean Input.

Hey..

maybe you should setup the fonts and the language in preferences..

and also please refer to IE Korean Localizing Setting

Thanks for your replys to my probs.

But I did change the language preferences/fonts in IE 5.1.
I have installed Korean Language Kit in OS X and OS 9. Both systems won't let me type Korean into this forum only.

I mean, only this forum I can't type Korean. I can in MacCity user forum in OS 9 and X without any problems.

It's weird, one that I can't understand.

It seems as this forum won't let me use Korean fonts for typing, it shows all jibberish.

그리고 혹시 인터넷 익스플로러의 프리퍼런스에서 Web Content 의 Allow
Page to specify font의 체크를 풀어주셨나도 확인해 보세요.

저희가 해본 테스트로는 입력이 되지않는 브라우저는 옴니웹인것으로 알고있습니다. 다시한번 해보시고 알려주세요.

Yes, I have the fonts, web content to allow specified fonts and all the above.
Weird.

I've been trying to upload my picture showing the broken Korean but this forum won't let me upload. It says the max file size is 600x0 pixels!

Anyway, I'll try some other methods, too.

I think it's happening only in input window. 이렇게 한글을 치면 한글로 올라가긴 한답니다. 오타만 치치 않는다면요. So I usually write in Textedit and paste it later to Explorer.

위에 보이는거 코코아입력기 아닙니까? 한번도 본적은 없지만 제 카본입력기와 다른것이 코코아 입력기일것 같군요. 그럴경우 원래 코코아 프로그램이 아니면 한글지원을 하지 못합니다. 카본입력기보다 빠르다지만 Stickies같은데다 써서 Paste해야되는 불편함이 있지요. 익스의 경우 카본이기 때문에 코코아 입력기로 입력을 하지 못합니다. 그걸 지우고 카본으로 다시 까시면 잘 되실겁니다.

PS. 근데 저게 코코아 입력기가 아니면 뭐지요?

전 파워입력기를 쓰고있습니다. 아직도 무지 느립니다만 익스플로러에서도 한글입력은 잘 됩니다. 유독 이 계시판에서는 입력창에서 한글이 깨지는군요. 미리보기를 해야 뭘 입력했는지 확인할수 있습니다. 왜 그럴까요?

카본 입력기는 아래있는것이죠???

전 익스한에선 깨지는것 없이 다 잘나옵니다. 스피드도 빠르구요. Darthy님, OSX를 인스톨하신 맥의 사양이 무었이죠?

사실 제가 아는 분도 카본입력기는 너무 느리다고 귀찮지만 코코아를 쓰신답니다. 그런데 개인적으로 이런것 전혀 못느끼겠군요. 좀 귀찮으시겠지만 X를 다시한번 인스톨 해주시는것 어떻겠습니까?

음... SnapProX로 한글쓰는것을 찍으려고 했더니 G4가 아니어서 아닌지 글씨쓰는것이 엄청 느려지는군요. 이거 G4 쓰시는분이 좀 찍어올려주실수 없습니까?

Okay, you guys are getting waaaaaay ahead here.
I have Korean Input 3.6, is this Carbon or Cocoa?
If it is Cocoa, as some of you are saying, then where can I get a Carbon version?

I just reinstalled OSX 10.1 again, still same problem.
